Ahead of Monday night’s game against the Washington Commanders, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke to the media on Saturday, sharing the final injury report for the game.
Nick Bosa, Deebo Samuel, Marques Sigle, and Garrett Wallow were all ruled out, while Mike Evans, Gracen Halton, Siran Neal, Upton Stout, Mykel Williams, and Christian Kirk were all ruled questionable.
The 49ers had a long injury report on Friday, their second day of practice for the week, so it was going to be interesting
on how the injury report would fall out on Saturday.
Seven players didn’t practice for the 49ers on Friday: Nick Bosa (calf), Mike Evans (ribs, Achilles), Gracen Halton (quad), Romello Height (hamstring), Deebo Samuel (hamstring), Marques Sigle (ankle), and Garrett Wallow (hamstring).
Of that group, Bosa, Samuel, Sigle, and Wallow were all ruled out. Evans and Halton seem to have a solid shot to play.
Six others were limited: Christian Kirk (calf), Colton McKivitz (illness), Siran Neal (neck), Upton Stout (shoulder), James Thompson (ankle), and Mykel Williams (knee).
Of the bunch, McKivitz and Thompson were cleared off the injury report, while the rest are considered questionable.
On the Commanders side, four players are out, while nine others are questionable. The biggest loss is running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who missed all week with a groin injury. Additionally, outside linebacker Javontae-Jean Baptiste, quarterback Marcus, Mariota, and defensive end Charles Omenihu will all be out for Monday’s game.
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs, defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw and linebacker Jordan Magee were among the questionable players for the Commanders all three practiced in limited fashion on Saturday.
Heading into the game the 49ers are 7.5 point favorites against the Commanders. Kickoff is set for 5:15 PM on Monday night on ESPN
