Sergei Pavlovich may have put himself back in the title mix earlier this morning (Sat., May 30, 2026) at UFC Macau LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Galaxy Arena in Macau, China, after the heavyweight contender steamrolled towering opponent, Tallison Teixeira, with a nasty 39-second knockout (punches).
Pavlovich entered Saturday’s early-morning clash as a heavy betting favorite and for good measure. The heavyweight knockout artist was coming off back-to-back wins and eager to prove he deserves another
shot at UFC gold. Teixeira is a dangerous threat for anyone in the division, but he’s a hittable fighter that often leaves his chin open for fight-ending shots.
Well, that’s exactly how this fight played out as Pavlovich came straight of the gate with heavy offense. He clipped Teixeira a few times from range before unloading a powerful overhand right. The punch didn’t even land clean, but Teixeira still toppled to the canvas. Pavlovich quickly jumped on top for smashing ground-and-pound as Teixeira eventually went out cold along the cage.
