What is the story about?
Purdue running back Jaron Thomas has committed to transferring to Minnesota. He redshirted as a true freshman this season with the Boilermakers and will have four years of eligibility remaining.
Thomas was a three-star
prospect coming out of high school. He signed with Purdue over scholarship offers from Army, Ball State, Navy, and Western Michigan.
Thomas will add depth to a Minnesota running backs room set to return Darius Taylor, A.J. Turner, and redshirt freshmen Grant Washington and Xavier Ford, in addition to three incoming freshmen.
