The ongoing mystery attacker angle in TNA was revealed to be Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw (formerly of the Wyatt Sicks in the WWE). Last week, they beat down the Hardys. This week, the duo named Syx explained their motives, and it led to an extreme match for PPV.
Sawyer and Shaw traded turns on the mic to close Impact (Oct. 1, 2026). Rather than ask who were the mystery attackers, we should be asking why. Syx views TNA as a rotten place that needs to be cut apart. No one is safe on the chopping block.
No help is coming. The names at the top of the chopping block are the Hardys as the GOATs. Matt and Jeff built reputations surviving things that normal men would never survive. Syx wants to see how hard it is to kill the Hardys.
Matt and Jeff offered a rebuttal on stage. The basic point is that they are unkillable. The Hardys offered Syx a chance to try at Bound For Glory in Falls Count Anywhere. The Hardys weren’t content to wait for BFG, so they went to the ring looking for a fight. The lights went out, and Syx disappeared.
TNA made the match official at Bound For Glory on October 11 in Tampa, Florida.
