Former Bayern Munich star and current Galatasaray attacker Leroy Sané is all-in with his role in Türkiye, but he does admit to missing one thing from his time in Bavaria — hanging with the boys.
“Of course, you miss the time with the lads on the pitch – that’s always something special. It was the same at City, at Schalke, it’s the same everywhere: when you leave a club and have been able to play football with the lads. But I’m here to create new memories, to gain new experiences. I’m fully focused
on Galatasaray and I’m looking forward to everything that’s to come,” Sané told Sky Germany.
Sané has six goals and seven assists in 35 games across all competitions for Galatasaray this season and seems to have acclimated well to his new surroundings. Of course, it is always natural to miss former co-workers or, heck, even friends from an old gig.
