Sure, it’s only Week 2, but this is a pretty big game on Sunday between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings. The Bears are one of the most buzzed-about teams after dropping 59 on the Carolina Panthers, while the Vikings came back and scored the final 29 points of the game in their 39-22 win over the Green Bay Packers.
And besides, division games are always played with a little more emotion.
The Bears and Vikings split last season, but over the last 5 years, Chicago has only two wins. Those
two wins were low-scoring games, 12-10 (2023) and 19-17 (2025), but I think we’ll see some points on Sunday.

The Vikings allowed the Packers to rack up 419 yards last week, and Green Bay’s offense was undermanned due to injury and suspension. The Bears’ offense is healthy across the board, and they put up 552 yards on the road in Carolina. Minnesota’s defense is better than it looked last week, but they’re going to be playing a better offense. Caleb Williams and company should be able to move the ball in Soldier Field, which is why I think the Bears win and why I think they cover FanDuels’ spread (Bears -4.5), so let’s call it 34 to 27, good guys.

The Bears were already going to run the ball, and with rain likely on Sunday, you may see them really lean on Darnell Wright and Jonah Jackson to clear some room for D’Andre Swift, who seems to have leveled up this year. So give me Swift to score two touchdowns at +420.
