The Orioles are riding some incredible momentum after a pair of dramatic wins over the Dodgers. Baltimore will look to complete a three-game sweep of the NL West leaders with Tomoyuki Sugano on the mound against future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw.
Jeremiah Jackson will bat first and play right field for the Orioles. Jackson Holliday will begin the game on the bench after homering in the ninth last night. Luis Vázquez will bat ninth and play second base.
Ryan Mountcastle will find the two hole as the designated
hitter. Gunnar Henderson will take his usual place at shortstop, and third baseman Emmanuel Rivera will bat cleanup.
Alex Jackson will bat fifth while catching Sugano. Samuel Basallo said his hand felt fine today after being hit with a foul ball Saturday, but Jackson will get the start in the day game. Dylan Carlson will play left field, Coby Mayo will take first base, and Jorge Mateo will play center field after pinch running last night.
