Pedro Neto has found himself subject to some fresh transfer rumors this weekend, linking him with not only Community Shied losers Manchester City, but another sovereign state-funded entity in Al-Hilal. Some reports had gone even as far as to suggest that the Saudi Pro League side had personal terms in place with the 26-year-old winger who started and played the vast majority of our final preseason match on Saturday.
The earlier rumors linking Neto with City carried a price tag of around £70m, which
City found too rich for their taste. But now that another team are involved, that price has actually gone up! According to The Telegraph, we value Neto “at close to £100m”. That’s a lot of value!
Should Al-Hilal agree that there is value in that much value, they have just a few weeks to get a deal done (their transfer window closes five days after the Premier League’s, on September 6).
