Manchester United wonderkid JJ Gabriel celebrates his 16th birthday today which is getting the rumor mill all excited once again, particularly about a move to Barcelona.
The teenager has reportedly been training in Barcelona after telling Manchester United he wants to leave.
Deco has played down talk of a move for the 16-year-old, insisting his club “aren’t involved,” but reporter Florian Plettenberg claims the Catalans could for for Gabriel.
His latest update on X claims Barcelona and Real Madrid have
“very concrete” interest in the teenager and are “ready to offer the XXL package of salary, bonuses and signing-on fee.”
Bayern and PSG are also credited with interest in the teenager and a move away from the Premier League looks the most likely option at present.
It’s thought Gabriel now has an EU passport which means he can go overseas before he turns 18. Gabriel has asked for his registration at Old Trafford to be cancelled, which Manchester United are expected to contest, but a transfer abroad would “bypass that issue,” per the Telegraph.
