TALENT RECESSION INDICATOR
A major talent recession indicator is when Ballon d’or nominees are practically begging and lobbying for the Ballon d’or in their public interviews. The interviews from Lamine and Mbappe are strategically released by the media around this time and made to look like they’re going head to head against each other. Which i expect to show in the voting as both of them will come
out the top 2 out of 3 candidates for the award.
But seriously, these guys should avoid giving these interviews next time. It’s actually sad and very weird for both of them. Mbappe saying he’ll dedicate it to africa, cuz of his Cameroonian roots LOL….If that ain’t the most political thing i’ve ever heard a ballon d’or candidate say. And then there’s Yamal going the low IQ route, saying goals shouldn’t matter?? and that we should start counting how many defenders a player can draw away for another player to score. Anyways, this generation, IMO, is far less talented than the previous one. All across the board, from attack, to midfield to defense, to Goalies. The ballon d’or is clearly in the lobbying phase.
GENERATIONS
The talent level of today is so low, that the ballon d’or is now being transparent and telling us their set criteria for the award. For the first time since it’s inception. They NEVER did this during the Ronaldo-Messi hegemony period, nor before that. Correct me if I’m wrong. Maybe because there’s no one embracing the villan role like CR7, nor anyone trying to play the good boy hero like Messi in this ultra-system football generation. So France Football is unwillingly stuck keeping things honest concerning the Ballon D’or. They’re now counting character disposition for the award…LLLLLOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL!!! Oh the Irony of the crooked organization that is France Football.
