247 Top 30 Under 30 Coaches
The Mountain West representatives on this list have been more scarce the past few seasons. However, this year’s edition does have one entry from the MW conference. Boise State’s EDGE Coach Jabril Frazier got the nod. The article mentions his success as a player and how he has guided two all-conference players in Ahmed Hassanein and Jayden Virgin-Morgan. Also, they highlight how he has recruited a top-three member of Boise State’s recruiting classes each of the past two seasons.
New Mexico success left an abandoned ship.
The Lobos’ football team won five games in 2024, nearly making a bowl game. The men’s basketball team won an NCAA Tournament game. Then, both of the head coaches left, followed by a mass exodus of both rosters. This article dives into the struggles New Mexico athletics have faced over the years and how they need to rebuild programs once again despite strong seasons from their two primary programs.
