Bayern Munich loanees were busy this week with some playing matches in European competitions. Nübel failed to save a penalty in both matched, but redeemed himself with an assist on a winning goal. Sieb
and Zaragoza helped their teams earn three points in Europe, while Palhinha helped with his team earn a scoreless draw in the Champions League. See who else contributed to their team this week — including a stoppage time winner in the 2. Bundesliga:
FC Bayern Munich
There are nine players from on loan from the first team.
Germany – Bundesliga
There are four players on loan to the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Arijon Ibrahimovic, Daniel Peretz, and Armando Sieb.
Alexander Nübel – VfB Stuttgart
Nübel started for Stuttgart as they traveled to Turkey to face Fenerbahce in the Europa League. He recorded six saves in the 90 minutes he played in goal. The only shot on goal he could not a save was from the penalty spot in the first half. That would prove to be the match’s only goal and Stuttgart fell 1-0 on the road. They have dropped two Europa League matches in a row.
Back in Bundesliga play, Stuttgart hosted Mainz and fellow loanee Sieb. Nübel started in goal again and for the second time this week conceded a first half penalty and went down 1-0. Stuttgart leveled the match in first half stoppage time. The only other shot on goal he faced was saved in the second half. In the 80th minute — still level at 1-1 — Nübel started an attack with a pass directly to the attack. Undav scored the winner directly from his pass, giving Nübel the assist. Stuttgart held on to the 2-1 win.
Nübel and Co. will turnaround and face Mainz on Wednesday — this time on the road in the DFB-Pokal. They also travel to face RB Leipzig on Saturday.
Arijon Ibrahimović – 1. FC Heidenheim
Ibrahimović started for Heidenheim on the road against Hoffenheim. He had two shots — one on goal and one that missed wide — and created two chances for his teammates to shoot. Heidenheim went down 3-0 in the first 65 minutes and was only able to pull back one goal in the 75th minute. They fell on the road 3-1.
Heidenheim will host Hamburger SV in the DFB-Pokal. They will also host Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
Daniel Peretz – Hamburger SV
Peretz was on the bench for HSV’s second keeper for their 1-0 homes loss in Bundesliga play.
Hamburg travels to Ibrahimovic’s Heidenheim in the Pokal on Tuesday. They will also travel to face Köln in league play on Sunday.
Armindo Sieb – 1. FSV Mainz 05
Sieb started on the bench for Mainz’ Conference league match on Thursday at home against Zrinjski Mostar. He came into the match in the 67th minute with his team leading 1-0. He was unable to get a shot attempt nor could he create any chances for his teammates to shoot. However he and his teammates did just enough to shut their opponents out and secure a 1-0 win.
As mentioned above, Mainz travelled to Stuttgart to face Nübel. Sieb was once again on the bench and entered again in the 67th minute. He had two shots, but neither of them tested Nübel — one was way off target and one was blocked out. Mainz were not able to overcome the 80th minute goal and fell 2-1 on the road.
Mainz will host Stuttgart on Wednesday in the DFB-Pokal and stay home for a Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen on Saturday.
England – Premier League
There are two player on loan to the English Premier League: João Palhinha and Jonah Kusi-Asare.
João Palhinha – Tottenham
Tottenham travelled to face Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday. Palhinha started but was not the most productive, recording the least amount of touches of anyone that played the full 90 minutes. He did not have a shot attempt nor a chance created for his teammates to shoot. Spurs were unable to find a goal, but they also kept the home team off the scoresheet for a 0-0 draw on the road.
Spurs travelled to Everton for their first visit to their new stadium. He again played the full 90 minutes but had more touches than Thursday and recorded more defensive stats. He did not have a shot or chance created again, but once again helped his team record a shutout on the road. This time Spurs found three goals and beat Everton 3-0 — their first ever loss in their new stadium.
Tottenham travel to face Newcastle in the EFL Cup on Wednesday and then return home on Saturday for a Premier League match against Chelsea.
Jonah Kusi-Asare – Fulham
Kusi-Asare started on the bench for Fulham’s match away to Newcastle. He got into the match in stoppage time shortly after Newcastle’s 90th minute winner. He only had two touches and only completed one pass. They were not able to find an equalizer and fell 2-1. This was Fulham’s fourth match in a row.
Fulham will travel to face Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL Cup on Wednesday. They will host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday in the Premier League.
Spain – La Liga
Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s La Liga.
Bryan Zaragoza – Celta Vigo
Zaragoza started for Celta at home against Nice in the Europa League on Thursday. He recorded three shots — one missed, one blocked, and one on goal — and created two chances for his teammates to shoot. He also completed 91% of his passes, misplaying just four pass attempts. He left the match in the 78th minute shortly after Celta went ahead via a Nice own goal. Celta Vigo held on to secure a 2-1 win.
Celta Vigo travelled to face Osasuna on Sunday in La Liga. He had four shots in this match — three off target and one on. He also created one chance for his teammates to shoot. He left the match in the 75th minute with the match level 2-2. Celta Vigo were able to hold their opponents without another goal — including a penalty save — and found a winner in the 87th minute to win 3-2.
Celta Vigo travels to face Puerto de Vega in the Copa Del Rey on Thursday. They will also on the road against Levante on Sunday in La Liga play.
Switzerland – Super League
Lovro Zvonarek is the only player on loan from the first team to the Swiss Super League.
Lovro Zvonarek – Grasshopper
Zvonarek started for Grasshopper on the road against St. Gallen. Though he did not have a shot attempt of his own, Zvonarek created four chances for his teammates to shoot. Unfortunately none of them led to a goal as Grasshopper was shutout away from home. He received a yellow card for a bad foul at the end of the first half. He was subbed off in the 65th minute with his team already down 3-0. St. Gallen added two more to beat Grasshopper 5-0.
Grasshopper will host Young Boys on Thursday and then travel to face Luzern on Sunday — both in league play.
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
There are two players from the first team on loan to the 2. Bundesliga: Maurice Krattenmacher and Tarek Buchman.
Maurice Krattenmacher – Hertha BSC
Krattenmacher started on the bench for Hertha’s home match against Fortuna Düsseldorf. He came into a scoreless match in the 59th minute and attempted a shot on goal from outside the box just a few minutes later. He had one more shot attempt but not until the 96th minute. This shot from the edge of the box went in to give Hertha a late lead. The away team had another couple chances, Hertha held on for the 1-0 win.
Hertha will host Elversberg on Tuesday in the DFB-Pokal. They will also host Dynamo Dresden in league play on Saturday.
Tarek Buchman – 1. FC Nürnberg
Buchman is still on the injury report with a foot injury. His expected return has been pushed back to mid-November.
Nürnberg will host Eintracht Braunschweig on Saturday.

There are two players on loan from the second team in the 2. Bundesliga: Noel Aseko and Paul Scholl.
Noel Aseko – Hannover 96
Aseko started for Hannover 96 on the road against Eintracht Braunschweig. He had two shots — one on goal and one that missed — and created one chance for his teammates to shoot. Braunschweig went down to 10-men in the first half and Hannover took advantage of it with two goals before halftime. Aseko came off in the 58th minute with Hannover still leading 2-0. They added another afterwards to secure a 3-0 road win against their nearby rivals.
Hannover will travel to face Elversberg on Friday.

Max Schmitt is the only player on loan in the 3. Liga.

Schmitt was on the bench as Ulm’s second keeper for their 5-0 road loss against SC Verl. Maybe a new starting keeper could inject some life into Ulm…

Germany – Regionalliga
There are two players on loan in the Regionalliga Südwest: Benedikt Wimmer and David Emmanuel.
Benedikt Wimmer – SV Sandhausen
Wimmer started on the bench for Sandhausen’s home match against FC Bayern Alzenau on Saturday. He came off the bench in the 58th minute shortly after his team went up 1-0. He was able to help Sandhausen keep the shutout for the remainder of the match and secured the 1-0 league win at home.
Sandhausen will travel to face TSV Schott Mainz on Saturday.
David Emmanuel – Hessen Kassel
Emmanuel was on the bench for Kassel’s local cup match against FC Bayern Alzenau — a 2-1 win — and for the league match against TSG Balingen — a 1-1 draw — but did not make it into either match.
Kassel will host SV Eintracht-Trier on Saturday.
Switzerland – Super League
Johnathan Asp Jensen is the only player from the second league on loan to the Swiss Super League.

Asp started for Grasshopper and played the full 90 minutes in their blowout loss to St. Gallen. He had three shot attempts — one missed high and two blocked. He was not able to create any chances for his teammates to shoot, and Grasshopper fell 5-0 on the road.
Grasshopper will host Young Boys on Thursday and then travel to face Luzern on Sunday — both in league play.
Austria – Bundesliga
Maximilian Hennig is the only player on loan to the Austrian Bundesliga.
Maximillian Hennig – TSV Hartberg
Hennig started for Hartberg on the road against Altach. He did not have any shot attempts but created two chances for his teammates to shoot, including an assist on the goal that put Hartberg up 2-0 in the second half. Hennig was subbed off in the 81st minute still up 2-0, but had to watch from the bench as his team conceded two late goals and drop two points on the road.
Hartberg will travel to face BW Linz in the OFB Cup on Tuesday. They will return home for a league match on Saturday against Austria Wien.

Mudaser Sedat is the only person on loan to Austria’s second league.

Sedat started on the bench for Amstetten’s match against Florisdorfer AC. He entered the match in the 55th minute with his team down 1-0. He was on the pitch as his team went up a man with less than 10 minutes and found a late equalizer to steal a point at home 1-1.
Amstetten will host Wolfsberger AC in the OFB Cup on Wednesday. They will travel to the Austrian capital on Saturday to face First Vienna FC.
FC Bayern Munich Frauen
There are two players on loan from the women’s team.
Spain – Primera División Femenina
Edna Imade is the only player on loan to Spain’s Primera División Femenina.
Edna Imade – Real Sociedad
It is unclear whether Imade is with the Nigerian National team. They beat Benin 2-0 in the first leg of the second round of AFCON Qualification. They return to Nigeria for the second leg on Tuesday.
After the international break, Sociedad will return to play on Sunday with a home game against Barcelona.
Brazil – Brasileirão Feminino
Ana Guzmán is the only player on loan to Brazil’s Brasileirão Feminino.
Ana Guzmán – SE Palmerias
Guzmán is with the Columbian national team for their CONMEBOL Nations League matches. They beat Peru 4-1 in the first match, but it does not appear that Guzmán got in — or at least did not have a noteworthy contribution. Columbia will take on Ecuador on Tuesday.
