Here is your thread for all non-UW CFB discussion for the week. But first, some highlights of what to watch all weekend.
Friday Evening – It’s not the deepest slate of Friday games, but Penn St trying to rebound from their loss to Wisconsin by traveling to a resurgent Northwestern for the opening of Ryan Field is a very good game between unranked opponents. The only other P4 game that night features Virginia Tech hosting Pittsburgh, an anomaly of a game between two unraked 4-0 teams.
Saturday Early
– #7 Alabama hasn’t looked perfect, but they remain undefeated heading into a tough road game against #16 Mississippi St. Georgia also hosts Vanderbilt in another early SEC game. Notre Dame heads to Chapel Hill for another game they should dominate against Bill Belichick’s turbulent UNC.
Saturday Midday – #14 Iowa welcoming #5 Ohio St is the biggest game of this middle window. A week after upsetting Michigan, the Hawkeyes get a chance to insert themselves right in the center of the CFP conversation. Also in this slot, #25 Missouri somehow remains in the polls as a pretty heavy underdog against #8 Florida at home. Tennessee welcomes Auburn to Knoxville.
Saturday Evening – If you click away from the Huskies and Trojans, there are some good Big 12 and ACC games to get your attention. #10 BYU heads to TCU and #12 Texas Tech plays at Colorado. Further east, #4 Miami plays a tough road game against Clemson.
Enjoy the games!
