According to a report from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich could be getting serious about its rumored pursuit of Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani:
🚨🔴 FC Bayern’s interest in Fisnik #Asllani
is becoming more concrete, with talks having already taken place.
Bayern, with Eberl/Freund involved, are impressed by the forward’s development. The 23 y/o top striker from Hoffenheim will leave in the summer via a release clause. Asllani is also with Kosovo for the World Cup play-offs. Fantastic season so far.
Asllani has had a very good season so far in registering six goals and three assists in 12 games across all competitions for Hoffenheim. However, it is tough to discern exactly what role he would have at Bayern Munich. A back-up to Harry Kane? A striker for the the future? Both?
At 23-years-old, it feels like sitting behind Kane would be a step backward after making great progress. This is certainly an interesting, if not befuddling, idea.
What do you say Bayern Munich fans — are you in favor of getting Asllani?
