There is a new tag team in the women’s division for AEW. A pair of Brits are teaming up to win gold, and one happens to be a former world champion.
During AEW Collision (Jan. 24, 2026), a vignette aired with Alex Windsor talking to someone off camera. Windsor dropped hints in her sales pitch, such as this person previously winning the AEW Women’s World Championship. One thing they have in common is never baking down from a fight. The reveal was Jamie Hayter, who quipped, “Well, I suppose we better
get some matching outfits then.” Windsor and Hayter shook hands, and we now have a new tag team gunning for the AEW women’s tag titles held by Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron.
This should be an interesting pair. Hayter and Windsor hit hard, and they are both fan favorites. Hayter is coming off the losing end of a championship feud with Kris Statlander. Windsor came up short with Riho as her partner in the women’s tag title tournament, but her fortunes turned when winning the Rev Pro undisputed British women’s titles from Mercedes Moné.
Share your thoughts on Jamie Hayter joining forces with Alex Windsor. Do you see championship gold in their near future? What should be their team name?
