As the Miami Hurricanes continue the journey of the 2025 season, our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook have released odds for the College Football Playoff 1st round game against the Texas A&M Aggies.

Now that we’ve moved to the CFP, Miami isn’t overwhelmingly more talented than their
opposition. Both Miami and Texas A&M have rosters littered with blue chip talent, and this should be a fast, physical game showcasing both collections of elite talent.
To me, the line is fine. Both teams are among the most talented and accomplished in the country, and are competing for a National Championship. The talent is there. The narratives are there (who wins this rubber match for teams that played twice recently). The extrinsic motivation (A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP) is there. And that sets the stage for a potentially epic game next weekend.
Miami has wanted an opportunity to show their mettle against the top teams in the country and compete for a national championship, and they have that chance. This first round game is a chance to begin their path to a championship, and Texas A&M is a very worthy opponent. This will be one of the best games of the opening round of the CFP, and I can’t wait to see it!
