The Final Four appearance is already paying off for Illinois.
Student season tickets for the 2026-27 season sold out in just nine minutes this year, a new record. It’s the sixth straight season that student tickets have sold out. Last season’s tickets sold out in 18 minutes, and two years ago they sold out in 26 minutes.
Illinois carries high expectations into this season after a historic
2025-26 season. For the first time since 2005, the Illini advanced to the Final Four. Multiple different preseason top-25 polls have Illinois within the top five, with ESPN’s too-early poll putting the Illini at No. 3.
Illinois kicks off its season at home against FDU on Nov. 2. State Farm Center is sure to be packed and rowdy as the Illini try to top last season.
