On day two of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers addressed two of the most concerning positions on their roster. Brandon Cisse, the pick at 52 overall, should come in and be able to compete for snaps at cornerback immediately, while the selection at #77, Chris McClellan, brings a variety of tools and positional abilities to the defensive line.
The Packers will go back to work on Saturday with five picks as the day begins, one in each of rounds 4 through 6 and two in round 7. Green Bay traded
its own 5th-round selection, #160, to move up seven spots for McClellan, but they still have pick #153, which they received from the Philadelphia Eagles in the trade for Dontayvion Wicks.
There are still some particularly intriguing players available heading into day three, however. APC’s favorite edge rusher, Dani Dennis-Sutton, surprisingly fell out of day two and is still on the board.
Could the Packers move up earlier into the start of round four? Brian Gutekunst said on Friday night that they were trying to move back into the end of round three but were unable to find a partner. There would appear to be a player or two that they have their eye on, so keep watch right away in the fourth to see if the Packers do indeed climb up the board and make an earlier selection.
Keep it here to discuss all of the Packers’ day three picks in the comments!
