Four-star California safety Malakai Taufoou received an offer from Penn State yesterday:
Taufoou is a four-star recruit and the No. 33 safety in the 2027 class. Most of his other power conference offers are teams in the Western US, including USC, Arizona, Cal, Arizona State, and Utah.
Penn State Offers Local Running Back
2026 State College running back D’Antae Sheffey received an offer from Penn State:
A State College running back feels like it should be a shoo-in for the Nittany Lions. Sheffey’s other power conference offers include Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Pitt, Ohio State, Texas A&M, West Virginia, and Oklahoma. The latest prediction has Penn State as the most likely destination for Sheffey after he decommitted from Syracuse.
Terrance Smith Re-Offered By Penn State
Four-star 2027 offensive lineman Terrance Smith received another offer from Penn State:
The Lansdale, Pennsylvania native is the No. 11 offensive lineman in the 2027 class as of today. Penn State is currently one of the favorites to land him, but don’t count out Rutgers and Syracuse. This would undoubtedly be a massive pickup for the 2027 class should Smith commit to PSU and a welcome sign for in-state recruiting under the new regime.
