In this edition of SB Nation Reacts, we want to know if you think Michigan will prevail on the road against Nebraska.
Michigan didn’t fare well in their first road tilt of the season, a 24-13 loss to the Oklahoma Sooners. However, the loss to Oklahoma was Michigan true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood’s first career road start. Underwood bounced back in great fashion at home in a 63-3 win over Central Michigan last Saturday, going 16-of-25 for 235 yards with one passing touchdown, one interception, along with 114 rushing yards and two rushing scores. Michigan at least has some semblance of momentum heading into the road tilt against Nebraska.
Nebraska has looked like an improved team through three games with wins over Cincinnati (20-17), Akron (68-0), and Houston Christian (59-7). The defense has been flying to the football and Nebraska’s offense has been entertaining with quarterback Dylan Raiola leading the charge.
The Michigan-Nebraska matchup will tell us a lot about the rest of the season for both teams. For Michigan, they can’t afford another loss this early in the season if they expect to make the College Football Playoff for the fourth time in five seasons.
