Luis Díaz may be struggling in front of goal for Bayern Munich, but Vincent Kompany is not concerned about his finishing.
The Colombian winger has come under scrutiny after failing to consistently convert his chances, but Kompany pointed to Díaz’s training performances as evidence that the goals will come.
“He has scored an incredible amount of goals in training. If he implements that in the game, then everything will be fine again,” said Kompany (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Kompany’s message is straightforward
and not complicated — Díaz is finding the net regularly in training, and Bayern simply need to see that same finishing translate into competitive matches.
The winger will have another opportunity to do exactly that in Bayern’s upcoming fixture against Union Berlin. If Díaz can get back to his form from 2025/26, the Bayern Munich attack will be in a pretty strong position for the rest of this campaign.
