With the Cleveland Browns’ first preseason game of the year in the books, fans and media got their first look at some of the young, exciting talent the team showcased on the field. There were many positives to take away from the game against the Chicago Bears, and national media pundits like Mina Kimes have even suggested that the Browns may be a quarterback away.
A rebuilt offensive line, combined with young talent at the skill positions, could make this offense look completely different from last
season. Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion have both fans and media extremely excited, so if Cleveland even has top-20 quarterback play, it could make a huge difference. The Browns feel ahead of the curve on rebuilding their offense, and if they could get their quarterback of the future in the 2027 draft, that could mean big things for this team.
Although the defense lost Myles Garrett, they gained Jared Verse while still retaining much of the talent that made them one of the best defenses in the league the last few seasons. While the defense will need to continue developing its young talent, the unit appears to be in a decent position heading into the season.
Let me know what you think in the comments – Are the Browns actually a quarterback away?
