The first Casey Cunningham email of the 2026 D1 Wrestling Season arrived this week, after an eventful summer. The Penn State Wrestling Associate Head Coach highlighted Penn State wrestler participation in three 2025 age-group World Championships:
- U20 World Championships; August; Samokov, Bulgaria
- Senior World Championships; Septemer; Zagreb, Croatia
- U23 World Championships; October 20-27; Novi Sad, Serbia
Note: American wrestlers who wrestled in the U17 World Championships, held in July in Athens, are too young for official affiliation with Penn State’s D1 program.
