Offense
- QB: Tyler Huntley 67
- RB: Derrick Henry 34, Justice Hill 31, Rasheen Ali 4
- WR: Zay Flowers 57, Rashod Bateman 49, Ja’Kobi Lane 46, Devontez Walker 20, LaJohntay Wester 1
- TE: Mark Andrews 38, Matthew Hibner 26, Josh Cuevas 15, Nick Vannett 14
- OL: Ronnie Stanley 67, John Simpson 67, Cam Jurgens 67, Vega Ioane 16, Emery Jones Jr. 51
The Ravens played 67 offensive snaps and again did not receive a full showing from their starting offensive line because of injuries. Vega Ioane was replaced by Emery Jones Jr. after he suffered a knee injury and did not return to the game. Jones played the final 51 snaps at right guard next to Cam Jurgens, who started at center for the first time since being traded to the Ravens. Jurgens played the entire game.
In the backfield, it was a near-evens split between Derrick Henry and Justice Hill. Unfortunately,
the Ravens were ineffective running the ball again. Henry averaged less than 3.0 yards per carry on 17 attempts and with the team trailing big late in the game, Rasheen Ali played four snaps and had four carries.
Matthew Hibner returned from injury at tight end and reassumed his No. 2 role in the pecking order. He was not targeted in the passing game, however. Josh Cuevas had 35 receiving yards on two catches in 15 snaps, while fourth-stringer Nick Vannett played 14 snaps as a blocker. Mark Andrews was quiet with only three receptions for minimal yardage in 38 snaps.
The only offensive bright spot was, once again, Zay Flowers. In 57 snaps, Flowers had eight catches for 137 yards with a long touchdown. This was the first game in which Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Ja’Kobi Lane all played together for four quarters. Bateman slightly out-snapped Lane (49 to 46), with Devontez Walker sliding down into a clear No. 4 role with 20 snaps.
Defense
- DL: Nnamdi Madubuike 40, Travis Jones 32, Calais Campbell 24, John Jenkins 15, Aeneas Peebles 6
- EDGE: Mike Green 36, Trey Hendrickson 32, Zion Young 21, Ethan Burke 17
- ILB: Roquan Smith 46, Trenton Simpson 40, Teddye Buchanan 11
- CB: Nate Wiggins 53, Marlon Humphrey 53, Keyon Martin 14, Chidobe Awuzie 2
- S: Malaki Starks 53, Kyle Hamilton 50, Keondre Jackson 21, K’Von Wallace 17
The Ravens were on the field for 53 defensive snaps, most of which came in the second half as they gave up five consecutive touchdown drives. Nnamdi Madubuike’s streak of playing 40+ snaps continued, with Travis Jones and Calais Campbell again behind him in order. John Jenkins and Aeneas Peebles combined for 21 snaps.
In the first game without Tavius Robinson, Mike Green played the most edge rusher snaps (36). He was closely followed by Trey Hendrickson with 32. Zion Young (21 snaps) and Ethan Burke (17 snaps) continue to be pretty close to each other in snap count. This is a position group that is definitely subject to change moving forward after Robinson’s season-ending injury, and the Ravens need more consistent pass rush.
Roquan Smith exited the game briefly with a leg injury but quickly returned, finishing with 46 snaps. Trenton Simpson’s 40 snaps were far ahead of Teddye Buchanan (11 snaps) once again. Simpson has been the team’s most impactful linebacker this season on a week-to-week basis.
In the secondary, Nate Wiggins and Marlon Humphrey both played all 53 snaps and struggled to slow down Cincinnati’s wideouts in the second half. Keyon Martin (14 snaps) saw a decrease in snaps from last week and Chidobe Awuzie was again a minimal factor in the cornerback rotation, playing only two snaps. Jaylinn Hawkins’ absence at safety opened the door for both Keondre Jackson and K’Von Wallace to get defensive reps. They combined for 38 snaps. Malaki Starks played the entire game and Kyle Hamilton played 50 snaps.
