WWE’s decision to part ways with all five members of The Wyatt Sicks group in the post-WrestleMania 42 cuts they made on Friday (April 24) was a stunning one. The faction led by the late Bray Wyatt’s brother Bo Dallas, featuring characters inspired by Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House puppets, was introduced with a lengthy interactive campaign and an over-the-top Raw debut less than two years ago.
Dallas and his alter ego Uncle Howdy figured to be around for the long haul, even if his initial followers Nikki
Cross, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan were not. Between the investment the company already made in The Sicks’ launch, and how the group seemed to be the vehicle by which WWE would continue to generate money for itself and Bray’s children. As PWInsider’s Mike Johnson tweeted:
It is pretty insane that Wyatt Sicks went from having their own attraction at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights to released six months later. My mind is blown on that one.
Be that as it may, the decision was made to cut bait on the act. Dallas was cut along with Cross, Gacy, Lumis, and Rowan.
With a little time to sit with it, Lumis became the second member of the Wyatt Sicks to comment on being let go. Nikki Cross focused on her entire WWE run in her goodbye, but Dexter was thinking about Bray, the people who helped try to honor Wyatt with him, and the fans of the man and the group that bore his name.
As longtime TNA watchers may know, Lumis’ shoot name is Samuel Shaw:
Won’t make this too sappy, but I love each and every member of this group. The task we took on together was truly monumental. I won’t look back with any regrets.
Thank you to anyone who ever worked with me/us. The @wwe locker room is filled with amazing talent.
To the fans of @wyattsicks , we truly felt Bray’s presence each and every time we made our entrance. I would like to think most of you did too…

See you soon.

Gacy and Cross responded to him in the comments, with Joe saying:
Thanks for being my partner. You always had my back 🤘🏻. Until we meet again.
And Nikki adding:
It was an honor to work with you. Thank you ☺️
