Frisco (TX) Heritage 5-star wing and 2026 prospect Bryson Howard is scheduled to be in Lexington for what is expected to be his final official visit, which began on Saturday.
One of the hottest names in the 2026 class, the sharpshooting 6-foot-5, 190-pound wing jumped 17 spots from No. 29 to No. 12 overall in 247 Sports’ most recent rankings update last month. His highest ranking comes from Rivals, which has him No. 11 overall.
Playing for the Texas-based Pro Skills on the Nike EYBL circuit, Howard
averaged 20.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.1 steals per game while shooting 56.8% from the floor and 46.2% from 3-point range (49 of 106) over 21 games this travel regular season and the year-end championships at Peach Jam last week.
Kentucky set a single-season program record with 341 three-pointers in 2024-2025, and Mark Pope’s offense has a clear emphasis. Getting a guy like Howard could help the Wildcats remain one of the best three-point shooting teams in the country. Howard will be making his visit one week before Big Blue Madness next weekend.
Howard is the son of 10-year NBA veteran and 2007 All-Star Josh Howard, who was a first round pick in the 2003 NBA Draft after being named First Team All-American and ACC Player of the Year during his senior season at Wake Forest, where his jersey is retired.
