The Detroit Lions have declared their inactives ahead of their Week 4 matchup with the Carolina Panthers on “Sunday Night Football,” and they’ve declared the same six players inactive for the second week in a row.
Starting corner D.J. Reed was dealing with a rib injury throughout the week, but despite a questionable designation, he is active and will play in this Primetime game. The Lions shook up their secondary last week, but Reed has been a staple and arguably their best corner, so having him active against
the Panthers’ top passing attack is a huge benefit for Detroit.

Entering the day with only 53 players on the active roster, and elevating safety Jalen Mills for this game, means the Lions’ game-day roster sits at 54 players. With 48 players eligible to play, Detroit needs to declare six players inactive for today’s matchup.
