No, it’s not a clash of anthropomorphic cartoon enemies; the Portland Fire are back in action after a mini break to meet the Seattle Storm in Seattle. Game time is 6pm Pacific.
The Storm are second from bottom in the WNBA at 5-16, but they’ve had some success recently, winning two out of their last three. For the 8-12 Fire, this is their last game of a four game road trip. They’ve had a rough go of it. After two uncompetitive games against the Chicago Sky, they lost a heartbreaker in quadruple overtime
by a single point to the Washington Mystics.
Injuries shouldn’t play a major factor in this one, although the Fire will be without Karlie Samuelson. Taina Mair is out for the Storm.
Let’s talk about the contest here, and remember to be cool, be kind, and stick to the subject at hand: tonight’s game!
