Hemby committed to Indiana this past offseason after spending four seasons at Maryland. He finished with 117 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries, with a long of 75 yards, when the Terrapins visited the Hoosiers in 2024. In total, he rushed for 607 yards on 134 carries with six touchdowns on the ground with the Terps last season,
adding 273 yards and one score as a receiver.
He’ll form a backfield tandem with UAB transfer Lee Beebe and Kaelon Black this coming season, taking over for the departed Justice Ellison and Ty Son Lawton from 2024.
Indiana is set to take on Old Dominion at 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, with the Hoosiers being favored over the Monarchs by 23.5, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
