Happy Friday one and all.
The Arizona Cardinals defense stood up last week and had their best game of the season, and possibly of the Nick Rallis era.
So, can the Arizona Cardinals repeat that against a team that has been struggling mightily, as the Broncos come in 31st in yardage, and 26th in scoring, and they have not looked great on the offensive side of the ball.
Can the Cardinals repeat that?
Here are three bets and one big swing from our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook that I am going to take on Sunday.
Jacoby Brissett Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+130)
This is one that didn’t work last week, as we know. Yet, I am going to continue to bet it because I just don’t see how the Cardinals win games if they don’t score touchdowns moving forward. And we know that if they get into a big hole, they will have Brissett try and throw them out of it.
Elijah Higgins Over 12.5 receiving yards (-114)
Higgins last four games: 20 yards, 19 yards, 57 yards, 28 yards. I would take this and would be willing to ladder up to 30-yards, (for those who don’t remember, laddering: take the over, then the next five yardage increments, so 15+ yards (+106), 20+ yards (+164), 25+ yards (+235), 30+ yards (+350).
Bo Nix Over 10.5 rushing yards (-114)
Nix has struggled this year, but he can move and he is a competitor, so I expect him to try and create some big plays with his legs this one.
Bam Knight most rushing yards (+360)
Knight is coming off a big game, the Broncos run defense is bad, and I think the Cardinals can get another nice performance if they can keep it close.
