It’s a rematch of last year, featuring two great rushing offenses, one defense that specializes in interceptions and another that does the same in sacks, plus one elite special teams unit and a Heisman finalist.

What to Watch For:
Boise State: The Broncos have been
inconsistent for much of the season. The offense has been struggling, with teams selling out to stop the run due to the passing game woes. That side of the ball could get a boost with the return of starting quarterback Maddux Madsen. The Boise State defense has gotten better as the year has gone on. They do well creating turnovers and big plays, but have a tendency to allow explosive run plays due to poor tackling and are prone to costly penalties.
UNLV: The Rebels are playing some of their best football of the season after beginning the year with some fortunate wins. They boast the best offense in the Mountain West, on the strength of Offensive Player of the Year, Anthony Colandrea, and a slew of talented skill players. UNLV’s defense has been poor, to say the least, which has been an issue and could be again in this matchup.
