Friday Night the Nebraska football team will take on Minnesota at Huntington Bank Stadium. According to FanDuel the Huskers are favored by 9.5 points with the overs being 46.5.
Last week the Huskers defeated Maryland in it’s first true road win of the year. While it was definitely a game of many ups and downs, the Huskers ended up coming from behind in a game winning drive in the last two minutes of the game. They amassed 453 yards of total offense with 4 passing touchdowns. Once again Emmett Johnson
had over 100 yards rushing, coming in with 176. The defense however, allowed more passing yards than they had all year.
Meanwhile, the Golden Gophers are coming off a 27-20 win to Purdue. Their defense had three interceptions, including a 27 yard pick six that sealed the win. They struggled to defend against the run, allowing 253 yards rushing.
The last time these two teams met was August 31, 2023 with Minnesota winning 13-10.
The Huskers and the Golden Gophers will face off on Friday, October 17th at 8:00 ET in Minneapolis. The game will be aired on Fox.
