The Cincinnati Reds once again turn to Chase Burns as they look to stem a losing run, this time in Philadelphia as they take on the Phillies in the second game of this mid-week series. Sharing the mound with Burns to start is lefty Jesus Luzardo, who looked much better in his most recent start against the Boston Red Sox (6.0 IP, 0 ER) than his season line would suggest (5.07 ERA, 1.33 WHIP).
The Reds have stacked their lineup with right-handed hitters accordingly. Sal Stewart gets the start at DH
today as the club rotates its infielders.
Meanwhile, slugger Kyle Schwarber is out of the Phillies lineup for the second straight night as he deals with an illness.
