Only in AAA can we share in the joy of a violent telenovela with clowns, a monster, and now a heel turn. The latest chapter unfolded between Psycho Clown, Carnicero, and Pagano at Triplemania 34.
The back story is a mystery attacker singling out the clowns of Psycho Circus for backstage beatdowns over the past few months. Psycho Clown grew suspicious of his tag team partner and pointed the finger at Pagano. Mr. Noa Noa Style was hurt by the accusations. When Psycho and Pagano lost the AAA tag titles
to the War Raiders, Psycho put the blame on his teammate. Pagano turned his back on Psycho as the War Raiders beat up the clown after the match. Later, Pagano was victim to the mystery attacker. Psycho apologized for his paranoia. The next step was the monster, El Carnicero, targeting Psycho with violence. That brings us to the Mexico City Street Fight at Triplemania 34.
Psycho had a chance to win on a flying splash through the table, but he rolled away after the pain from impact.
Drama time. Get the popcorn. On the finish, Psycho was tied up in the ropes. Carnicero grabbed a metal toolbox with the intent to bash Psycho’s skull. Pagano made his return with a kendo stick. At first, it seemed like Pagano had Psycho’s back, then Pagano stepped aside. He allowed Carnicero to hit Psycho in the head to win the match via pinfall. Pagano made it clear that he is no longer friends with Psycho. Pagano handed his kendo stick to Carnicero, who went buck wild shattering the stick with a barrage of strikes on Psycho’s body.
It sure seems as if Pagano is in cahoots with Carnicero. The question is if Pagano masterminded the mystery attacker angle or if this was a betrayal in the heat of the moment. Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of these clowns.
