Raphinha endured another frustrating night for Barcelona on Tuesday as Hansi Flick’s side drew 1-1 with Newcastle at St James’ Park in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.
The Brazil international has returned to fitness but hasn’t been able to consistently capture his magical form of last season when he was simply incredible and named La Liga’s Player of the Season.
Raphinha’s frustrations were evident on Tyneside as well. The Brazilian was spotted tearing his shirt apart at the end
of the game.
Raphinha’s now gone six games without a goal for Barcelona, a rare dought for the 29-year-old, but he’s not the only one struggling to find the back of the net.
Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres are both finding goals hard to come by which will be a worry for Flick as we head into the business end of the season.
Barca’s No. 9 has two in his last nine games in all competitions, while Ferran is having a really tough time of it and has now only scored once in his last 12 matches.
