Happy gameday one and all.
The Arizona Cardinals are traveling to play the Cincinnati Bengals today in a game that no one is expecting the Cardinals to compete in.
That has the fans split. Not necessarily in this poll, which by the way is last weeks, we did not get the results this week due to holidays, but we have last weeks and we have the comments on this site and on the social media.
Fans are not confident in the direction of the franchise, but some are willing to give Jonathan Gannon and company a pass this year.
The idea that they are so injured that they can’t compete is not inaccurate, but it’s the fact that they don’t know how to win consistently, again they have won two games with Jonathan Gannon as the head coach without Kyler Murray starting.
You haven’t earned the benefit of the doubt in my mind, because you haven’t shown you know how to win.
So, while the injuries are real, so is the fact that you’d have to win 11 games next year to match your record with Murray. 11 wins would be one of the best seasons in Arizona Cardinals history. A history that tells us that is unlikely, especially if Gannon is the head coach.
