Hansi Flick has called up plenty of youngsters to pre-season training at Barcelona, due to a host of his players returning late from World Cup 2026.
Fermin Lopez has also been part of the sessions after missing the World Cup due to injury which has given him a good chance to get a closer look at some of the latest emerging talents at the club.
The midfielder has now been asked which youngsters have surprised him the most and came up with two names in particular.
“They are all very good. The work done
at La Masia is very good,” he told Ara.
“If I had to choose two, I would tell you Orian Goren and Ebrima Tunkara. I had practically not seen them play, but they are very good and have a very high level.”
Tunkara looks to be one of Barca’s big bets for the future and the hope is that he go on break into the first team. Goren also seems to have also caught Flick’s eye and the Barca boss will surely be keeping a close eye on him with Barca Atletic this season.
