What is the story about?
Barcelona have been drawn to face Racing Santander in the last 16 of the 2025-26 Copa de Rey.
The draw took place on Wednesday and saw Hansi Flick’s defending champions paired against a team that have already caused a stir in the competition by dumping out high-flying Villarreal in the last round.
Juan Carlos Arana scored twice for Racing to help secure a 2-1 win despite Ayoze Perez’s late goal which proved
to only be a consolation.
Meanwhile, Barca booked their place in the last 16 with a 2-0 win over Guadalajara thanks to goals from Andreas Christensen and Marcus Rashford.
