It’s a wonderful Tuesday so far and surely nothing terrible will befall us. Then again, the Seattle Mariners do play a baseball game today. Oh well, links!

- RHP Casey Lawrence has
jumped from the sinking shipopted out of his minor league contract with the Mariners.
- The Mariners have claimed RHP Nolan Kingham off of waivers from the Rangers, and the 40-man roster now has 37 occupants.

- Former beloved Mariner Paul Sewald has been designated for assignment. Bring him home?
- Former Mariner and current Angel in the outfielder Cade Marlowe has exercised an upward mobility clause in their contract. If an upward mobility clause in a contract breaks, does it just become stairs?
- Blue Jays RHP Spencer Arrighetti has been diagnosed with something called a Morton’s nuroma, but isn’t currently expected to miss any playing time.
- The Royals signing of Craig Kimbrel has been made official, now his 12th MLB team to be a part of in his career.
- Two time All-Star Tim Anderson is officially retiring from Major League Baseball.
- The Dodgers are calling up reliever Seth Halvorsen.
