Taylor Doll’s fantastic NFL Draft series rolls on with her latest Making Monsters podcast featuring her interview with Chapel Fowler, beat writer for The State Newspaper covering Clemson football. There are several interesting Tigers prospects this season, and they’re within range of where Chicago will make its first selection. They talk about corner Avieon Terrell, EDGE T.J. Parker, and defensive tackle Peter Woods, and how they could fit Chicago’s defense.
If the Bears wanted a true penetrating
defensive tackle, then Woods (6’2.5”, 298) would be that guy.
“He’s not like a big nose tackle by any means,” Fowler said about Woods after explaining how he played some defensive end in 2024. “Like he’s very athletic, the body fat, all that stuff. He was on the Freaks list in The Athletic, and he very much has like a five-star build and body.”
The statistical production fell off for both Woods and Parker in 2025 compared to what they did in 2024, and Folwler explained that it was partly because the Tigers had a couple of other defensive linemen step up.
Give Taylor’s show a listen in either of the embeds below, and let us know if you hope the Bears will draft any Clemson Tigers.
