The Tennessee Titans are trading Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams, according to Adam Schefter:
I need someone to make the value they got back here make sense. This is the second trade they have made where they ended up swapping picks (Jarvis Brownlee was the first). They are giving up assets without actually gaining picks. Sure, they moved up a round, but is that really all they could get for these guys? If it were, then is the trade really worth making?
McCreary is no All-Pro, but he is a solid player on a team that doesn’t have many solid players. He is a young player whom they could build around. Now, they have created another need without even adding a pick. Apparently, it is really important for this front office to get rid of any players they didn’t draft.
McCreary was a second round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He has played in 55 career games for the Titans and has three career interceptions.
