AEW broke out the Double Jeopardy stipulation to add sizzle to Title Tuesday. Plus, Kyle O’Reilly shares a secret that all Kyles know.
Don Callis issued a challenge to Brodido, so Tony Khan sweetened the
pot for the tag team champions. Double Jeopardy Eliminator Match!
The bout is Bandido & Brody King versus Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita. If the Callis Family wins, then they earn a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship. If Brodido tastes victory, then the individual winner will receive a shot at Okada’s AEW Unified Championship.
Being that this is Title Tuesday, AEW didn’t want to have Mercedes Moné as the only title match (TBS Championship open challenge). There were also be a rematch of Kyle versus Kyle for the TNT Championship.
Kyle O’Reilly was bothered by the phrasing of Kyle versus Kyle 2. He shouldn’t be Kyle 2. He is the original wrestling Kyle. O’Reilly also shared a deep, dark secret that every Kyle knows. “Any Kyle who sees another Kyle sees nothing but murder and hatred in the other Kyle’s eyes.”
What’s Title Tuesday without a couple of non-title matches. PAC stepped to Orange Cassidy to renew hostilities. Cassidy was game as long as it is one-on-one with no backup. PAC agreed to dance that dance.
Next week’s special episode (two and a half hour broadcast) of Dynamite takes place on Tuesday, October 7 from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL. The Title Tuesday lineup includes:
