The Seattle Seahawks (2-1) are back at home after splitting a two-game road trip against the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Commanders. Coming off the surprise defeat to the Commanders, the reigning Super Bowl champions will take on the surprisingly winless Los Angeles Chargers (0-3). It’s not just Mike Macdonald going up against his former boss, Jim Harbaugh, but we’ll also see special teams coordinator Jay Harbaugh facing his dad’s team.
Seattle is a comfortable favorite, but that was also true
last week and the Seahawks took an L. They’ll get safety Julian Love back after calf tightness ruled him out of the Commanders game, and they could also get Ty Okada to make his debut after missing the opening month with a hamstring injury. The biggest news is rookie running back Jadarian Price is on IR with a chest injury, so while Zach Charbonnet isn’t ready to return yet, it’ll be the Emanuel Wilson and George Holani show. Justin Herbert and company are in dire need of any offense, having scored just 46 points through three games, and they might be in tough against Seattle’s defense. The Chargers just lost to the Buffalo Bills despite forcing five takeaways, but the Seahawks are best served not turning the ball over repeatedly to give the underdogs a chance.
