Bayern Munich roared into life in 2025/26 by starting the season with guns ablaze, tearing up nearly every team it has faced so far. Scoring goals for fun whilst playing attractive football, it’s been a while since fans of the Bavarians saw that. Luis Díaz, a player who exceeded expectations at the club, believes that the team being “tight-knit” is a factor for their success.
“We’re like a family. We have a united, very hard-working and humble group, an incredible coaching staff, and incredible players,”
the Colombian explained (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia). “I think the strongest thing is the togetherness, the fact we all pull together, stay calm and take things step by step. We’re playing terrific football, not only going forward, but we also defend well. That’s important in order to achieve big things.”
Despite the relatively thin squad, the Rekordmeister has generally performed well over the course of the season so far.
