Barcelona are linked with blockbuster transfers in virtually every single window despite the club’s very well-publicised financial issues.
This summer is no different with continued claims that Barcelona want Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid and Alessandro Bastoni from Inter.
Yet neither transfer will be easy to pull off. Atletico keep on saying Alvarez is not for sale, while he’s valued at around €90 million. Reports from Italy claim that Inter want €70m for Bastoni.
Club president Joan Laporta
has said there is money available this summer for transfers but Barcelona are still not yet fully compliant with La Liga’s 1:1 financial fair play rule.
