The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Despite wide receiver Xavier Worthy being listed as questionable with an ankle issue on Friday’s injury report, the second-year pro will go — confirming a report early on Sunday from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Guard Kingsley Suamataia also drew the questionable tag while working his way through league concussion protocol. He is active, meaning he has been cleared by the team’s independent
neurological consultant.
On Friday, the Chiefs confirmed that running back Isiah Pacheco would miss in third straight game while recovering from an MCL sprain suffered in Week 8. Cornerback Joshua Williams, running back Elijah Mitchell, tackle Wanya Morris, tight end Jared Wiley and wideout Jalen Royals will also not dress for Kansas City.
On Saturday, Kansas City elevated running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire from the practice squad to the active roster. The team’s first round selection from the 2020 NFL Draft will automatically be returned to the team’s practice squad after the game. He is active for the contest.
The Colts have also released their list of inactives.
As expected, former Chiefs cornerback Charvarious Ward — who suffered a concussion in pregame warmups in Week 6 — was activated from the team’s reserve/injured on Saturday and will play in the game. The only player listed as out for the Colts was reserve linebacker (and former Missouri Tiger) Jaylon Carlies. Carlies remains on the Colts’ reserve/injured list.
After being listed as questionable with a groin injury, defensive end Tyquan Lewis is active for Indianapolis. Rookie running back DJ Giddens — a Kansas State product — is among the Colts who will not dress at GEHA Field at Arrowhead.
The Colts made no practice squad elevations for the game.
