We’ve seen some pretty good pitches from UFC fighters over the years … and some that are downright awful.
While nobody will be able to match Sean O’Malley’s 904 mph fastball, UFC 327 headliner Jiri Prochazka made a respectable effort in front of the Miami Marlins vs. Cincinnati Reds baseball game on Tuesday night. Sadly, it did little to motivate the hometown team, as the visitors walked away with a 6-3 win.
Have a look:
Just like Prochazka’s fighting style: awkward, but effective.
“BJP” is currently in “The Sunshine State” as part of the upcoming UFC 327 fight card in Miami, where the former light heavyweight champion will attempt to capture the vacant crown opposite Carlos Ulberg. The action goes down this Sat. night (April 11, 2026) at Kaseya Center on the Paramount+ digital network.
“There’s no real preparing for a particular fighter like Jiri, he’s very unpredictable,” Ulberg told UFC. “We do have some looks that can give us what we need for this particular fight. It was a short notice to take this fight on, especially it being a world title fight, five rounds. But we’ve been preparing for this fight for years now. We’ve seen it happen. We’ve seen that Jiri could be a possible opponent, whether it be for the title or not. He would be someone in my path. We’ve always been ready. We know we’re ready. When we go in there, it’s just about getting the job done and handling business.”
