On Monday afternoon, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced game times and television coverage for Week 9 of the 2025 College Football season. And, in that announcement, the conference continued their
run of putting the box office boys in prime time.
Miami, ranked #2 in both the AP and Coaches polls after a worse-than-the-scoreboard-shows 28-22 win over Florida State 2 weeks ago, have had both their bye weeks and now play every remaining week of the regular season. The Canes are widely thought to be one of the best teams in the country, but they need to prove it every week.
On the other hand, Stanford are one of the worst teams in the country, don’t even have a full-time coach (interim coach Frank Reich leads the team this year only), and have stumbled to a 2-4 record so far this year. Not to get into a game preview for next week’s game now, but this should be a massive blowout in Miami’s favor.
So there you have it. Mario Cristobal’s wish for more Noon games has been ignored by the ACC yet again. Oh well.
Miami. Stanford. Hard Rock Stadium. October 25th. 7:00pm.
See you then.
