Both managers are expected to rotate their teams for tonight’s FA Cup fourth round match between Hull City and Chelsea — not because this game isn’t important, but because both teams are coming out of grueling stretches of fixture congestion, while dealing with injury and other massive games coming up soon.
The WAGNH Community are thinking along similar lines, opting for a well rotated lineup, including a second debut for returning loanee Mamadou Sarr in defense. Alongside him, Josh Acheampong is
one of the few to retain their places from Tuesday (not necessarily because he played amazingly). They both beat out Benoît Badiashile (39%), with Tosin (4%) a non-factor in the voting.
It’s not a fully rotated lineup however, thanks in part to our injuries and fitness questions, with the likes of Andrey Santos, Moisés Caicedo, Robert Sánchez, Malo Gusto, and Estêvão retaining their places. Enzo (45%) also came close to starting (seemed like it was a toss-up between him and Moi for many).
4-2-3-1 (76%)
Sánchez (67%) | Hato (95%), Sarr (80%), Acheampong (65%), Gusto (61%) | Santos (92%), Caicedo (52%) | Garnacho (81%), Estêvão (75%), Neto (61%) | Delap (77%)
Trevoh Chalobah (33%), Marc Guiu (30%), Wesley Fofana (27%), Reggie Walsh (25%) all got at least a quarter of the vote, with Cole Palmer (24%) and Joao Pedro (19%) not far behind either. Reece James (11%) and Roméo Lavia (7%) complete the slate, along with a couple write-in votes from youngsters Landon Emenalo, Jesse Derry, and Shim Mheuka.
