The Arizona Cardinals are dipping into the college football market once again for the new defensive line coach. However this one couldn’t be different from the last one.
The Arizona Cardinals are hiring Pete Kwiatkowski, the former University of Texas defensive coordinator.
Kwiatkowski has been in the college game for a long, long time. He started in 1988 at his Alma mater Boise State, but his first DC gig was 2000-2005 at Montane State.
From there he was DC at Boise State from 2010-2013, Washington from 2014-2020 and then at Texas from 2021 to last year.
So, bringing him in as a line coach, where he cut his teeth over the years makes some sense.
It is an interesting hire for Nick Rallis.
Kwiatkowsk is a grizzled veteran coordinator coming into a young, mostly unproven staff, so will he be the voice of experience, even if this is his first venture into the pro ranks?
What are your thoughts on the hire of Kwiatkowsk as defensive line coach?
